Meet the new brides!
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi had a solemn wedding at their Beverly Hills estate over the weekend. The hush-hush affair was said to attended by only about 19 to 30 people close to the couple, none of them were big time celebrities, as per reports from People Magazine.
The couple has been together since December of 2004.
In May of this year and after the US Supreme Court altered its ruling on gay marriage, Ellen made an announcement on her show that she was going to marry her partner. Her bride to be was in the audience, overwhelmed with tears.
At the wedding, both women wore matching outfits by designer Zac Posen. Portia (who is now legally known as Portia De Rossi DeGeneres, de wife of de Daytime Talk Show Emmy winner) was in a lovely wedding gown, while Ellen wore the pants. (Hey, Ellen! Luke Skywalker called and he wants his clothes back!)
Ah, I kid about it but I want to wish these two the best. May they live a very happy long life together.
