Tina Fey pairs with Carell and Downey Jr.
Tina Fey…oh, I like her. I think she’s brilliant. Learning that she’s going to pair up with Steve Carell and Robert Downey, Jr in two separate movies raises my like-a-lot toolbar of her!
Variety has reported that Carell and her are doing a romantic comedy about a married couple who are trying to bring the spark back into their relationship. The movie is called Date Night. Production begins next year and it is set to air when both the actors’ show (30Rock for Fey and The Office for Carell) are on hiatus. So that means we’ll get to see the movie next summer, right?
She’s also lending her voice to an animated series by Dreamworks entitled Mastermind, according to this article. They also picked Robert Downey, Jr. as one of the talents. The animation is produced by Ben Stiller’s production company and is scheduled for 2010.
Tina Fey is working with a lot of cool people! Which makes her super cool, too!
