30 Rock meets the girls from Gossip Girls
30 Rock is really on a roll with casting! Add these ladies to the list of guest stars scheduled to appear in Tina Fey’s sitcom: Blake Lively and Leighton Masters, the stars of Gossip Girl.
According to EW , the girls are scheduled to be on the show in November and their scenes will be set as a flashback to Liz Lemmon’s high school days where surprisingly, Liz was a Mean Girl herself!
While I don’t particularly follow the younger stars nor their TV program, this is a casting coup I’m equally excited about because it has an interesting story line. Liz Lemmons (Tina Fey), a meanie? I can already hear her bitching in my head and it’s very amusing!
The show is also intent on casting Blake’s older sister Robyn, who was a familiar face back in the 80’s and 90’s.
Movie stars Jodie Forster and Anne Hathaway are the featured special guest voices when The Simpson’s begins their 20th season this month.Jodie will be lending her voice to an older version of baby Maggie. Her episode is set to air in early 2009. Anne Hathaway meanwhile will voice the character who falls in love with Bart in a separate episode.
