Tina Fey was touted to play Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin in Saturday Night Live’s season opener earlier. Aside from the fact that they look almost alike, who else could play Sarah Palin but her? But it was never really confirmed if Tina was taking on the role while taking a break from 30 Rock shooting and stepping into the controversial politician’s shoes, until the show began.
Here’s a video of the cold open. Tina Fey did her very best doing Sarah Palin. With her is Amy Poehler who has been doing Hillary Clinton for SNL. Amy is leaving the show this season to concentrate on her upcoming TV series.
