Kath and Kim Full Season Order

Kath and KimI cannot believe it.

NBC has ordered full season episode’s of the comedy series Kath and Kim. The show is based from an Australian series featuring a dim mother and a self-absorbed daughter pairing.

I am not amused of this full season pick up. While I believe Molly Shannon deserves her own TV series, Kath and Kim isn’t bringing the laughs for me. I’m so annoyed by the daughter!

According to NBC VP Teri Wienberg, they have “incredible confidence” for Kath and Kim. “It’s a perfect fit with our Thursday night comedies.”

This is the show they have replaced Scrubs for?

Kath and Kim comes after My Name Is Earl (a show I’ve also given up watching), and it does seems a perfect fit with these two.

Yikes.
