Does Melrose Place Wants Heather Locklear For The Remake?
In connection with the planned return of Melrose Place next year, there’s a buzz of a possible TV comeback for one of its alums, too. Heather Locklear, who played the bitchy man-eater Amanda Woodward in the series, has been eyed to reprise her role. But as things are still in the planning stage, the actress hasn’t confirmed nor denied she’s been asked to come back.
One executive expressed to Ausiello Files :
“It certainly wouldn’t hurt her to do it. She should wait and find out what the actual concept is. But if it involves her running D&D à la The Devil Wears Prada, she should jump at it.”
The actress’ last TV appearance was in a Hannah Montana episode, but she was also guest on Boston Legal, LAX, Scrubs and Two and A Half Men in recent times.
The actress is currently dating her former Melrose Place co-star, Jack Wagner. While still working in the series, the two were married to other people. Now both divorced, they have reconnected and began dating each other last year.
