Melissa George Became A US Citizen To Vote For Obama
Former Alias star and Australian native Melissa George has committed to becoming an American Citizen. Her first act as one? She is voting for Obama.
The actress was recently home for a visit in Perth, Australia but she flew back to America just in time for the elections.
The actress said she feels a lot safer living in America with Obama as President.
“He’s our Martin Luther King. He represents hope and change - the opposite of where (the US) is now. I would feel very safe living in America if he were president, he is an amazing man.”
Melissa George will be seen next on Grey’s Anatomy, and will play the role of a lesbian Meredith Grey allegedly shared something with. What that is will be revealed in this Thursday’s episode.
Melissa George’s appearance on the dramedy is seen as a break and relief from her previous engagement. The actress just wrapped up a thriller were she played a woman with multiple personalities.
