Oprah is Most Powerful Woman in Entertainment
Does it still surprise you to know that Oprah Winfrey is entertainment’s most powerful woman? She’s been hailed as a powerful media personality since, when…the start of this millennium? Even earlier?
The Hollywood Reporter has recently named her to the top of their annual Power 100 List, saying she could be the “most influential woman in America” and has cited her involvement in the Obama campaign as a strong driving force.
I would be more surprised if she dropped out of it, to be honest. We all know, Oprah is powerful. And she will be…for a very long time.
Also in the list? Tyra Banks at #36 (watch out for this woman, she will be jumping the ranks eventually!), Tina Fey at #51, and Shonda Rhimes, the show runner of Grey’s Anatomy at # 56 and Miley Cyrus at #100.
