Amy Poehler bids SNL Goodbye

Amy PoehlerComedian Amy Poehler was on temporary leave of absence following her giving birth to their first child (with husband Will Arnett). She returned to SNL last week, surprising many people. But alas, it was only a short-lived return for last Saturday, Amy bid the show one last time during the Weekend Uplate segment.

Amy Poehler joined the sketch comedy program in 2001 and has become one of its most funniest and most successful female comedians ever. She leaves the show in order to work on her very own half-hour comedy program which should begin its airing next year.

I will be missing her on SNL, but I can’t definitely wait to watch her new show soon.
