 In a couple of hours, we will get to watch the last of Lipstick Jungle’s episode. The show hasn’t been given a slot in NBC’s Mid-Season schedule. There have been news some two months ago it has been given its walking papers. And yet, through it all, Brooke Shields remain positive it’s not gonna get canned.

I enjoy this show a lot. It doesn’t have the best script around, but I love that this show is MY show, right ladies? It speaks to and for a lot of women.

But man, Brooke Shields needs a dose of the reality pill. In an interview with USMagazine, the actress says she still has faith the show is staying put because of the positive emails they’ve been getting from fans… and because the set is still there.

This, even as one of her co-stars, Robert Buckley, is already moving on and doing Privileged with JoAnna Garcia.

I don’t work for the show nor am I remotely connected to it, but even I can tell when it’s over.
