ABC Takes A Defensive Stance On Grey’s Anatomy Cast Departures and Ghostmance
At the TCA Press Tour early today, ABC President Steve McPherson, took a rather defensive stance on where Grey’s Anatomy is heading with their story, particularly the brewing love affair between Izzie Stevens and her departed lover, Denny Duquette. If you have been following the show, then you must be aware the two have been getting it on in bed when we know for a fact, Denny has been dead for what? Two years?
Here’s what McPherson has to say about this plot development —
“It’s not a ghost, which you’ll learn. When you get to the end of the season, you’ll see what everything she had in mind. It might not be your cup of tea, but you’ll be surprised at how insightful and actually smart the story line is.”
Seriously? Will we be blown away by how actually “smart” it is? I don’t know about you but the producers of this show had lied to its viewers before and have taken to spinning stories and promos to mislead us.
If this wasn’t enough, read how McPherson addressed some of the questions from the press about recent cast departures and unhappy actors in this site. The show is giving this guy a headache, that’s for sure.
