The Battle of the Geek Chicks on 24
Have you been watching the new season of 24 which premiered last week? It is interesting to see how the dynamics between Chloe and new character, Janis, will play out in succeeding episodes. See, both of them are the go-to gals for anything technical the other agents need. Both of them are geeky smart, experts in what they do. But each of them are playing on different teams —- Chloe is helping Jack who has now gone rogue, deep deep cover, while Janis works for the FBI, looking for Jack.
There was a scene between these two last week which played out like the Battle of the Geek Chicks, the 24 edition. Chloe was trying to tap into the FBI servers, while on the other end, Janis was preventing her, key for key. It was so beautiful to watch them sorta bitch slap each other, except only done with technology. According to interviews, we’re going to see more of this between the two of them. Yey!
But who do you think has more techno edge?
Granted I’ve only seen Janis on a few episodes and have seen Chloe do her stuff for several seasons, my answer would be clear cut. There is only one Chloe O’ Brien, who can do impossible things with her computer. But then again, we may never know what Janis has up on her sleeves just yet.

Chloe, of course, has the techno edge. She’s been doing the dumpy, socially awkward, tech-girl thing for years. But I’m still confused why Janeane Garofolo is playing someone totally unlike Janeane Garofolo.
